Kitchen Christening

So one of my friends built a kitchen in his basement this summer and today we got to reap the first fruits of his labour. We all brought something to add to the meal and we all helped to prepare it. It was really cool. The food was suprisingly good and I really enjoyed trying something new. It was good to talk more with people that I haven't talked to much before and I got to talk with some people that I hadn't seen in a while. I especially loved the comment from the host at the end of the night about how he likes parties with christians better than other parties because they don't stay too late and when it gets close to time to leave they all help you clean up so it's not messy at the end of the night. =)
