Trudging through that Psalms
Time to read: 3 hours and 36 min
Shortest reading time: 28 sec Chapter 100
Longest reading time: 8 min 47 Chapter 78?
Running total: 45 hours 51 min + 3h & 36 m
Total Days: 16
Total Books: 19.6
Total Chapters: 567
Okay...so clearly I'm not yet done the Psalms. But I've finished the first 100! On another note, which perhaps is related to my reading...you can judge that. My youth network pastor was saying this morning how his daughter said that she wanted to get him an iPod for when he travels, but being 8 years old she didn't have enough money to get him one. So for Christmas he stuck a present beside her bed and put on it, 'To: Daddy' from God or something like that...I wasn't entirely listening because I was working...anyways, so basically he bought himself the iPod, but because he saw how much his daughter wanted to get him one he gave it to her so she could give it to him. He was basically trying to relate how God gives us things (like salvation) that we aren't able to get for ourselves. He gives them to us because He sees how much we want to give to Him and He responds with joy when we give back to Him what He's given to us. My explaination might be sloppy...do you get my meaning?
