Ben and I went to Perkins after Church/Work on Friday. We were going to stop into Timmies, but none of the usual gang was in there and we wanted some all day breakfast. So we're sitting at our table and we're discussing how when you close your menu that's the secret hint to waitors that you're ready to order. And I go on to say that I keep mine open so I won't forget what I'm ordering. So we do this little 'test' of me closing my menu, and low and behold the next time the waitor comes by he comes and asks if we're ready to order (which was less than a minute later).
It seems that there are all these little rules that I have absolutely no clue about, but yet am expected to follow. I feel so out of the loop. Half the time I have no clue what is approriate or expected. I feel like I'm in this large guessing game, but it's ok because on my blog I am allowed to be real. I don't have to try and figure out the rules because their aren't any. I just get to be me (which means trying to avoid saying things that might offend people...which sometimes I wonder if that's even possible), I don't have to figure any secret code out.
...I can just make them. ;)
