Deuteronomy

Time to read: 3 hours and 26 min
Shortest reading time: 2 min 23 Chapter 34
Longest reading time: 13 min 31 Chapter 28

Moses seems to re-write history and blames Israel for the reason that he is not able to enter the promise land. He tells the people that it was because of God's anger against them, but he leaves out the part about God saying to him that it was because he did not treat Him with reverence in the eyes of the people.

The rest of the book goes on to say how they will be blessed if they follow God and cursed if they don't. God takes obedience to Him very seriously.

isn't that first part basically what i was saying? ...or at least thinking.

"Like if you're not going to do this..please kill me now."

hahaha...i think i might have said that a few times. but it's good to know that when he said that God listened.
