Paul says this about a serious problem. Don't just cut people off. If there's an issue than bring it up and discuss it. Don't come at it attacking them. Do it in a way that shows understanding, they didn't just get that way over night. Explain to them what they've done wrong so that there's no misunderstandings. And give them words of encouragement so that they don't feel discouraged, but regardless will feel your love for them.
